Covenant Health includes nine hospitals and nearly 150 service locations, offering employees a comprehensive benefits package with tuition reimbursement, student loan assistance, certification bonuses, and leadership development programs.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Responsible for providing on-call, in-house pastoral care to patients, visitors and employees.</p> <p>Recruiter: Jennifer Gordon || apply@covhlth.com</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responds to requests for pastoral care services. </li><li>Provides pastoral care to patients, visitors and employees as appropriate. </li><li>Logs time and visits for any follow-up actions by Chaplain and charts visits on electronic medical record (EMR). </li><li>Maintains confidentiality in relationships established through service. </li><li>Assists community clergy in provision of pastoral services with patients and visitors as opportunity develops. </li><li>Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Education:</p> <p>At least (1) unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) completed. Graduate Level education preferred; Ordination Preferred; 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education Preferred.</p> <p>Minimum Experience:</p> <p>Three (3) years experience in pastoral ministry, with one (1) year in health care ministry.</p> <p>Licensure Requirement:</p> <p>None</p>
