<p>Job Description</p> <p>The Medication Tech / CNA @ The Cardinal at North Hills is responsible for the delivery of quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident's physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.</p> <p>Full Time / Part Time</p> <p>2nd (3p-11p) 3rd shift (11pm-7am)</p> <p>Medication Technician Must have a CNA certification</p> <p>Pay Range $21/hr - $23/hr</p> <p>CNA</p> <p>Pay Range $17/hr - $18/hr</p> <p>based on certifications & experience</p> <p>Openings are in our Skilled, Memory Care & Assisted Living Units.</p> <p>Paid Vacation / Sick Time / 7 Paid Holidays</p> <p>Excellent - Medical / Dental / Vision Benefits / 401K</p> <p>Free Meal each shift</p> <ul> <li>CNA: must be licensed in North Carolina verifiable through online registry </li><li>MT: must be able to provide certificate of completion of 10-hour and 5-hour or 15-hour Medication Technician Certification course, must be a licensed Medication Aide verifiable through online registry </li></ul> <p>What will I do every day as a MT?</p> <ul> <li>Observe residents for any changes in condition and report to supervisor </li><li>Assist residents with simple requests as needed </li><li>Document and report changes of condition </li><li>Provide medication set up and assistance </li><li>Log in medications from pharmacies, verify physician's orders and communicate any concerns </li><li>Track all medications and re-order as needed </li><li>Track residence vital signs, diabetic testing and/or insulin injection, ambulation, etc. </li></ul> <p>What will I need to be successful in this role?</p> <ul> <li>Bring a smile to work every day </li><li>Be a great team player </li><li>High school education or GED equivalent preferred </li><li>Nursing assistant course completion </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?</p> <ul> <li>First Aid certification and CPR, if required </li><li>Must meet state training requirements and/or certifications </li><li>Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) </li></ul> <p>What will I do every day?</p> <ul> <li>Observe residents for any changes in condition and report to supervisor </li><li>Assist residents with simple requests as needed </li><li>Document and report changes of condition </li><li>Provide medication set up and assistance </li><li>Log in medications from pharmacies, verify physician's orders and communicate any concerns </li><li>Track all medications and re-order as needed </li><li>Track residence vital signs, diabetic testing and/or insulin injection, ambulation, etc. </li></ul> <p>What will I need to be successful in this role?</p> <ul> <li>Bring a smile to work every day </li><li>Be a great team player </li><li>Be a high school graduate </li><li>Have a completed a Nursing Assistant course (State approved, if required) </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?</p> <ul> <li>Must be 21 years of age (or meet state requirements) </li><li>Have current First Aid and CPR certification </li><li>Have completed the required training, and/or certification (according to state) for assisting with medications </li><li>CNA if required by state </li></ul> <p>What's in it for me?
