<p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Quality Lead Auditor supports the Quality Department by overseeing day-to-day auditing functions, serving as the subject matter expert for auditing-related issues, and acting as a liaison between auditors, warehouse operations, and cross-functional teams. This role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing escalated quality concerns such as tarnish and oxidation, and ensuring consistent training and coaching of auditors and warehouse staff.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <p>Continuous Improvement:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with Kaizen, 5S, and other improvement initiatives. </li><li>Provide auditing support to sustain improvements and track results. </li></ul> <p>Auditing Expertise & Support:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for auditing-related questions and guidance. </li><li>Support resolution of date code issues and picker disputes. </li><li>Provide coaching to pickers on internal and external errors to prevent recurrence. </li><li>Anti-Static and Moisture Room Management. </li></ul> <p>Tarnish and Oxidation Ownership:</p> <ul> <li>Act as the designated runner and liaison for all tarnished/oxidized order issues. </li><li>Manage prioritization and disposition of tarnish-related orders. </li><li>Create and manage Quality Warehouse tickets in HubSpot for Tarnish and Moisture-Sensitive Level (MSL) issues. </li></ul> <p>Collaboration Across Teams:</p> <ul> <li>Partner with Customer Experience and Purchasing teams to resolve escalated order-related issues. </li><li>Communicate effectively with auditors, pickers, and supervisors to align on resolutions and expectations. </li></ul> <p>Training and Development:</p> <ul> <li>Provide training for new auditors on auditing procedures, documentation, and quality standards. </li><li>Deliver ongoing coaching and refresher training for the auditing team. </li><li>Support knowledge sharing across the warehouse to improve overall quality awareness. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality auditing or with proper picking processes and procedures. </li><li>Ability to interpret drawings, manufacturer specifications, and order documentation. </li><li>Intermediate ERP skills. </li><li>Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF Editor tools. </li><li>Proficiency with inspection devices such as micrometers, calipers, and weigh scales. </li><li>Basic math skills for counts, measurements, and verification. </li><li>Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coach and train others. </li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. </li><li>Experience with continuous improvement tools (Kaizen, 5S) preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with HubSpot or similar ticketing/CRM systems a plus. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Ability to walk and stand up to 8 hours per day. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Warehouse environment with moderate noise from power industrial trucks. </li></ul> <p>Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
