The paid internship offers the opportunity to develop your analytical skills and deepen your understanding of equity, fixed income, and alternative investments. You will be involved in real-world projects and contribute to the research and management of client portfolios.</p> <p>This internship requires in-person office attendance at our Carmel, IN headquarters.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in analyzing public fund managers and individual stocks and bonds </li><li>Support research and due diligence on alternative investment managers and private products </li><li>Participate in team discussions and contribute to investment decision-making processes </li><li>Attend team meetings, investment presentations, and training sessions </li><li>Querying, cleaning, and analyzing advisor and client data </li><li>Administrative tasks including record entry, database maintenance, and scanning/filing </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment </li><li>High level of attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Strong computer skills, specifically advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products </li><li>Intermediate industry knowledge is preferred along with interest in the pursuing the CFA designation </li></ul> <p>What You Will Gain:</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive training and development opportunities across a wide range of investment disciplines </li><li>Potential to hire for full-time Valeo Investment Analyst Rotational Program upon successful completion of the internship </li></ul> <p>Valeo is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
