<p>Job Description</p> <p>United States Steel is looking for a Quality Assurance - Analytical/Tech I that will be responsible for performing laboratory - based duties that include but are not limited to, data evaluation, conducting material examinations, and documenting finding in detailed summary. Includes handling steel specimens and performing hands-on evaluations to determine material characteristics and composition. Candidates must be able to able to effectively engage in teams, promote an environment of respect, communication and collaboration through two-way communication.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform analytical and technical duties that require evaluation and interpretation of data while following established procedures </li><li>Conduct chemical analyses and physical testing, including review of supporting documentation and results </li><li>Compile reports that require investigation and validation of test data </li><li>Prepare steel samples and perform required physical and chemical testing </li><li>Utilize standard laboratory methods and testing equipment to ensure accurate results </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of one (1) year experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial environment </li><li>Preferred Skills: </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams </li><li>Prior experience working in a quality or laboratory setting is preferred </li></ul> <p>Company Overview</p> <p>Since 1901, U.
