<p>Job Description:</p> <p>APPLY FOR POSITION Here</p> <p>FULL JOB DESCRIPTION Here</p> <p>Collaboratively work across the St. Louis RPDC Region (Jefferson County, St. Louis city, St. Louis County and St. Charles County) providing MTDS technical assistance and programming.</p> <p>Collaboratively work across the state to implement regional Missouri Teacher Development System (MTDS) technical assistance and programming, including:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in various groups and teams to develop MTDS materials and resources. </li><li>Facilitate regional MTDS programs (Emerging Level I & II, Teacher Academy, and Teacher Academy Grads) </li><li>Understand, promote, and implement the MTDS Framework </li><li>Work collaboratively to develop program evaluation methods and data collection instruments. </li><li>Provide technical assistance to districts that apply for teacher recruitment and retention grants and for teacher </li></ul> <p>education grants.</p> <ul> <li>Provide resources for grant recipients. </li><li>Engage in ongoing collaborative planning, production, implementation, and evaluation for MTDS programming. </li><li>Participate in program implementation monitoring, evaluation processes, and ongoing data reporting for MTDS </li></ul> <p>programming.</p> <ul> <li>Provide assistance to DESE and external researchers in gathering and reporting data and impact strategies related to </li></ul> <p>teacher recruitment, retention, and teacher education grants.</p> <ul> <li>Engage in ongoing collaborative planning, production, implementation, and evaluation for MTDS programming. </li><li>Participate in program implementation monitoring, evaluation processes, and ongoing data reporting for MTDS </li></ul> <p>programming.</p> <ul> <li>Provide assistance to DESE and external researchers in gathering and reporting data and impact strategies related to </li></ul> <p>teacher recruitment, retention, and teacher education grants.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain an active and visible leadership role in the educational community. </li><li>Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by DESE and the St. Louis RPDC Director </li></ul> <p>Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills such as strategic planning, analytical thinking, setting deadlines, and evaluating progress are required. </li><li>Strong ability to understand the context of a program and how it affects programplanning, implementation, outcomes, and evaluation. </li><li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. </li><li>Skill in oral and written presentation of complex ideas to college and university personnel, private providers, and others involved in teacher education. </li><li>Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with public officials, departmental personnel, college/university officials, private providers, school administrators, and the general public. </li><li>Regular attendance is required to provide support to EducationPlus and the St. Louis RPDC </li><li>Possesses strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen, work in groups, communicate both verbally and non-verbally in a professional manner, negotiate with others, and solve problems. </li><li>Possesses the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Shows evidence of an ongoing customer focus. </li><li>Operates computer hardware for programming or applications; stays abreast of changes in technology and participates in necessary training to maintain appropriate level of skill necessary for efficiency in position. </li><li>Develop information for written reports and correspondence to officials inside and outside theorganization. </li></ul> <p>Required Education/Experience/Certifications/Licensures:</p> <ul> <li>Experience facilitating adult learning-knowledge of adult learning theory. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Education or related area, Master's preferred, from an accredited college oruniversity. </li><li>At least five (5) years of successful recent teaching experience. </li></ul> <p>Salary/Benefits:</p> <p>$60,000 (This position is contingent upon funding.)</p> <p>You are navigating off of REAP site to the district's posting.</p> <p>OK</p>
