<p>Minuteman High School is seeking a Soccer Head Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The coach will be responsible for leading student-athletes in practices, competitions, and related activities while promoting teamwork, school pride, motivation, and skill development. Major Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement Soccer plays and techniques. </li><li>Coordinate the team's practice schedule and attend all practices and games. </li><li>Prepare the team for games and function as a liaison with other coaches. </li><li>Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting team spirit and unity. </li><li>Mentor and motivate athletes, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them achieve their goals. </li><li>Work with school administration to ensure compliance with all necessary requirements and regulations, including safety and liability issues. </li><li>Communicate with parents and coordinate team events and fundraising activities. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience as a Soccer player or coach. </li><li>Strong knowledge of Soccer techniques and plays. </li><li>Excellent communication and people skills. </li><li>Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their goals. </li><li>Organizational and management skills, including the ability to schedule and plan practices and events. </li><li>Familiarity with safety guidelines and regulations for Soccer activities. </li><li>Dedication to promoting a positive team spirit and inclusive environment for all team members. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public, walking around the school, standing for periods, occasionally lifting and carrying items, reading documents, using a computer, listening and speaking, using office equipment, maintaining energy throughout the day, and handling stress effectively. </li></ul> <p>Terms of Employment:</p> <ul> <li>Stipend Position. </li></ul> <p>Effective Dates of Employment:</p> <ul> <li>This is a stipend position for the 2026-2027 school year. </li><li>The person who fills this position will be the contact for any relevant and important information prior to the start of the school year. </li></ul> <p>Supervisor:</p> <ul> <li>Athletic Director. </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>The total stipend for this position is $6,984 - $8,797 for the entire assignment. </li></ul> <p>Minuteman High School is committed to maintaining a work and learning environment free from discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, pregnancy, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital/civil union status, ancestry, place of birth, age, citizenship status, veteran status, political affiliation, genetic information or disability, as defined and required by state and federal laws.
