<p>Long Description</p> <ul> <li>Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted company policies and practices </li><li>Responsible for the integrity of Tangible and Intangible Assets and depreciation calculations for multiple locations. Insure proper recording of new acquisitions, internal transfers and dispositions. Prepares amortization and depreciation projects for forecast and budgeting activities. </li><li>Analyzes General Ledger for variances and exceptions and prepares journal entries for month end closing. </li><li>Maintains Prepaid and Accrued Expenses spreadsheet, reconciliations and related GL activity. </li><li>Reconciles Inter-Company activities. </li><li>Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. </li><li>Assists Controllers in the preparation of monthly Financial Statements, Forecasts and Budgets </li><li>Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time. </li></ul> <p>Long Description</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in accounting required </li><li>3 - 5 years related work experience </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel </li><li>Experience with ERP systems a must; SAP highly desirable </li><li>Accounts Receivable Experience. </li><li>Knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IFRS) a plus </li><li>Ability to work with others in complex management matrix structure </li><li>Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal </li><li>Must possess "soft skills": conflict resolution and negotiation, personal effectiveness, creative problem solving, strategic thinking, team building, and influencing skills </li><li>Expertise in dealing with people effectively and politely </li><li>Minimal Travel (primarily domestic) </li></ul> <p>US Citizen or Qualified U.S. Worker</p> <p>Long Description</p> <p>The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
