<p>Financial Analyst</p> <p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Analyst to join our team at Nicholas and Company. This role is critical in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes that drive operational efficiency and profitability. This is a salaried position schedule may change due to business demands.</p> <p>Pay: $60,000-$75,000 based on experience</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in pricing strategies and inventory valuation. </li><li>Conduct cost analysis and margin reviews to identify opportunities for improvement. </li><li>Evaluate vendor contracts and distribution agreements from a financial perspective. </li><li>Support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. </li><li>Analyze financial data and tends to support strategic planning and operational decisions. </li><li>Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning. </li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. </li><li>Monitor company and departmental objectives and key results (OKRs) and provide actionable insights to management. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing) to assess the financial impact of business initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. </li><li>At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in food distribution, logistics, or consumer goods. </li><li>Previous SQL experience is a plus. </li><li>Proficient in BI applications (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, and Looker BI). </li><li>Proficient in financial planning software (e.g., Oracle EPM, Anaplan). </li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Working knowledge of Supply Chain Finance and Inventory Management is a plus. </li></ul> <p>About us</p> <p>Since 1939, our family has delivered quality and integrity-in our business, our products, and our relationships.
