<p>Job Title: FSQ Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The FSQ Technician is responsible for auditing production paperwork and conducting QA/QC tests on liquid food samples. This role involves working on a three-day rotation of tasks: production quality checks, lab quality testing and analysis, and quality assurance responsibilities.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Obtain samples for testing, including cheese and liquid food product samples. </li><li>Perform daily batching scale verifications. </li><li>Prepare lab testing materials and supplies, ensuring adequate inventory. </li><li>Update daily temperature logs and maintain, review, and distribute critical quality control reports as requested by QA Management. </li><li>Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements while following the company's Good Manufacturing Processes. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge in biology, chemistry, and microbiology. </li><li>Experience with auditing and HACCP. </li><li>Proficiency in lab preparation and batch scale verification. </li><li>Familiarity with FDA regulations and audit paperwork. </li><li>Expertise in quality assurance, quality control, and laboratory procedures. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associates or Bachelor's Degree in the Sciences. </li><li>0 - 3 years of experience in a Quality position, or 2 plus years of quality experience with GMP and/or FDA experience. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position is based in a food manufacturing facility and micro & chemistry lab. The team operates with high accountability and teamwork, embracing an all-hands-on-deck mentality when needed. Initial training is conducted on the first shift for 2-3 weeks, depending on the candidate's grasp of training.
