<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Secondary Programs at Windsor High School</p> <p>Hours: 7:30am - 2:30pm</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree or higher</p> <p>Tutor's Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>The PEAK Tutor supports students with school avoidance and school anxiety </li><li>Implement students goals and objectives as in accordance with their IEP/504 Plans </li><li>Utilize appropriate instructional materials </li><li>Provide instruction and support to students assigned </li><li>Progress monitor student performance </li><li>Assist with assignments/assessments as needed </li><li>Communicate progress to classroom teacher/special education case manager </li><li>Other duties as assigned by Pupil and Special Education Services and/or building principal </li><li>Support secondary students with online credit recovery program </li><li>Provide social/emotional support to students in efforts to engage them in their learning </li></ul> <p>Experience working with students in a school setting preferred and/or demonstrated ability to make connections and provide academic support for such students.</p> <p>Successful completion of college level coursework or passing of examination as required by the No Child Left Behind Act.</p> <p>Apply Online...www.windsorct.org</p> <p>Windsor Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>Windsor Public Schools are committed to a policy of equal opportunity/affirmative action for all qualified persons.
