<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The CCL Technical Manager leads the technical development and the industrialization of the vehicle.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the Technical Design Team through the Sourcing Process </li><li>Create management and communication processes to ensure Sourcing and Tool Kick Off achieve milestones. </li><li>Manage all Technical content and Optimization of complexity </li><li>Responsible to deliver commonality commitments at the program level </li><li>Lead the Technical Integration of features with the cross functional teams; including PFDI, vehicle Sciences (NVH and Durability)- confirming </li></ul> <p>functional objectives are met within the contracted allowance</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate technical escalation of part design with other projects, modules, vehicle platforms and advanced engineering </li><li>Lead the technical decision process including facilitation of meeting forums and cadence (decision meeting and CN/IAA meeting) </li><li>Manage technical design verification and validation including DV/PV planning, execution, tacking, and executive reporting. </li><li>Co-lead Weight and Cost Optimization with the Planning and Cost Managers. </li><li>Coordinate project activities with the Manufacturing Assembly Team and production plant. </li><li>Responsible for vehicle build issue management and resolution </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science in ME or related engineering degree from an ABET accredited university </li><li>Minimum 8 years of automotive development experience </li><li>Excellent communication and program management skills </li><li>Ability to simplify complex engineering topics, develop and deliver a presentation concisely </li><li>Ability to make quick decisions using sound engineering logic </li><li>Well-developed problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to define the engineering logic behind system packaging layout solutions in the context of the vehicle/platform </li><li>Work effectively and manage non-direct reports across multiple unique disciplines </li><li>Must be a highly motivated, detail oriented, and a self-directed process thinker </li><li>Strong interpersonal and leadership skills </li><li>Strong written and presentation skills </li><li>Ability to interface with all levels of management </li><li>Familiarity with automotive systems, components, and vehicle testing/validation processes </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master of Science in Engineering Science/physics background with fundamental knowledge of vehicle system interaction / integration </li><li>Working </li></ul> <p>knowledge of DFSS</p>
