The number of courses offered in the Department of Mathematics is largely dependent on student demand; therefore, we often have the need for part-time instructors with very short notice. Such part-time positions will be filled utilizing qualified applicants from this pool.</p> <p>Applications will be accepted into the pool through May 31, 2025 and will be utilized to fill positions for the 2024-2025 academic year.</p> <p>This instructor position in the Department of Mathematics will consist of teaching up to 3 introductory mathematics courses, but no more than 11 credit hours per semester.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Master's degree in Mathematics or related area required by start date</p> <p>Experience teaching undergraduate Mathematics</p> <p>Authorization to work in the United States</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Experience teaching OHIO University undergraduate Mathematics courses or courses considered equivalent under the State of Ohio's OT36 transfer system</p> <p>Demonstrated teaching excellence at the undergraduate level</p> <p>Department Mathematics Pay Rate</p> <p>Pay is set according to college approved rates.
