<p>General Summary</p> <p>Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is recruiting a Director of Human Resources. Under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources, the Director of Human Resources (HR) is responsible for directing the HR team and assisting the business unit human resources executive in developing, implementing, and administering human resources policies and programs. This leader may oversee any number of the following: employment, compensation, benefits, employee and labor relations, engagement, development, diversity and inclusion, performance management, training and development, and organizational development. They will ensure quality operations of human resource processes. This role requires thorough knowledge of human resource policies and procedures as well as federal and state laws. They will provide advice, guidance, direction and consultation on all topics related to human resources policy and practice to operational management, employees and HR staff.</p> <p>Minimum Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field </li><li>Master's degree in related field preferred. </li><li>Certification or completion of professional certification (SPHR, etc) preferred. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Experience</p> <ul> <li>7 years of progressively more responsible related work experience, preferably in a health care setting and </li><li>1 year of leadership experience in Human Resources. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li>Organization: Corporate Services </li><li>Department: Corporate Human Resources </li><li>Shift: Day Job </li><li>Union Code: Not Applicable </li></ul>
