<p>Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description</p> <p>The Manufacturing Engineer will identify, communicate, and drive improvements throughout the production and engineering process. This position involves a direct reporting line to the Continuous Improvement Manager.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Engage shop floor personnel and engineers on process improvements. </li><li>Understand and control process inputs and outputs. </li><li>Design processes to ensure quality and standardization. </li><li>Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements. </li><li>Assess manufacturing design and processes to recommend enhancements. </li><li>Develop and optimize processes by designing and implementing manufacturing systems, optimizing workflows, and reducing waste and costs. </li><li>Select, design, install, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and fixtures. </li><li>Troubleshoot production line issues and recommend and implement solutions. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production staff. </li><li>Analyze costs and efficiency by estimating production costs, times, and staffing requirements, and gathering statistics to assess efficiency. </li><li>Conduct advanced problem solving and root cause analysis activities. </li><li>Participate in and occasionally lead Kaizen events. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>3 years of manufacturing engineering experience. </li><li>3 years of lean manufacturing experience. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. </li><li>3 years of time study experience and analysis. </li><li>3 years of troubleshooting machine experience. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in manufacturing engineering. </li><li>Process engineering expertise. </li><li>Continuous improvement proficiency. </li><li>Lean manufacturing knowledge. </li><li>ERP system familiarity. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This role is on-site and hands-on with the production floor.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
