<p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ensure that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, and safety, and follow the appropriate food safety requirements for an accident-free workplace.</p> </li><li> <p>Verify conformance to customer specifications, including proper application of ingredients/materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for making any adjustments needed to run production efficiently.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for accurately recording any downtime of the line.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain paperwork.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures that machinery is maintained in a sanitary condition.</p> </li><li> <p>Recommends measures to improve methods, equipment performance, and product quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Follows company policies, and GMP's in addition to performing housekeeping in the area.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for the use of required PPE as per assigned duties.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to follow verbal instructions from the Shift Supervisor and Lead person.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be detail-oriented and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.</p> </li><li> <p>Notify management of any Food/People Safety or Food Quality concerns.</p> </li><li> <p>Sets up and breaks down machinery.</p> </li><li> <p>Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High school, GED, or equivalent. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>One to three months of food manufacturing or packaging experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be reliable and punctual.</p> </li><li> <p>Work in a fast-paced environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work overtime when scheduled.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of diverse individuals within the plant.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to write and read standard information to fill out company documents.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure including but not limited to pounds, ounces, and grams, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and temperatures.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving equipment in the production area. The work environment is cold. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions when performing sanitation on equipment.</p>
