<p>3rd Shift Schedule: (Overnight) 10:00 pm-6:30 am CST</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>The Customer Liaison will support and interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about operations and services. This role will be located at our customer's plant in Wentzville, MO.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Act as the primary on-site contact for Materials personnel </li><li>Communicate with Customer, TVS, and vendor associates to ensure adequate parts inventory is maintained </li><li>Keeping accurate records of discussions and correspondence with customers </li><li>Performing detailed inventory functions and communicating findings to TVS and Materials departments </li><li>Analyzing statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service the organization is providing </li><li>Producing written information for customers, often involving the use of computer packages/software </li><li>Writing reports analyzing the customer service that your organization provides </li><li>Follow proper alarm processes when inventory issues are identified </li><li>Developing feedback or complaints procedures for customers to use </li><li>Providing help and advice to customers using your organization's products or services </li><li>Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter, and face-to-face </li><li>Investigating and solving customers' problems, which may be complex or long-standing problems </li><li>Handling customer complaints or any major incidents </li><li>Perform special projects, duties, and responsibilities assigned by the manager </li></ul> <p>Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Communication proficiency </li><li>Technical capacity </li><li>Strong team mentality </li><li>Interpersonal and motivational skills, Analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Adaptability </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Delegation </li><li>Customer Service </li><li>Initiative </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</p> <p>The associate is occasionally required to sit or stand, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may occasionally be required to lift 51 pounds, anything greater than 51 pounds requires assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This job is performed in a busy warehouse environment with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures. Safety glasses and vests are required for personal protective equipment (PPE).</p> <p>Position Type/Expected Hours of Work</p> <p>Full-Time, Exempt. Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required. 3rd shift position.</p> <p>Travel</p> <p>Limited local travel between the customer plant and the TVS SCS site.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent </li><li>Experience working in a warehouse and/or working in a JIT (Just-In-Time Inventory) environment </li><li>Ability to use mathematical equations to compute productivity reports </li><li>Knowledge of OSHA standards and a proven safety record </li><li>Knowledge of ISO quality systems </li><li>Ability to operate package handling equipment </li><li>Computer skills and operational knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) </li><li>Working knowledge in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) </li><li>Ability to work in stressful environments and effectively resolve conflict </li><li>Associate or bachelor's degree, preferred </li></ul> <p>Other Duties</p> <p>Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
