Coordinates with physicians, clinical supervisors and external sites following hospital policies and procedures to assure proper placement of patients. Responsible for employee scheduling and ensuring appropriate staffing levels. On-call Monday Thursday. Post high school level course in business, healthcare, or closely related field of study. Three (3) years experience in one of the following areas: patient access, medical records, insurance claim processing, customer service, or related public contact, patient accounting, hospital or medical office work.
