<p>Business Unit Manager- Production Scheduling and Distribution.</p> <p>Ticonderoga Mill</p> <p>Ticonderoga is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to take on the top leadership role in our PS&D department, (Production Scheduling and Distribution). The selected candidate will provide overall leadership and direction for all activities concerning the safe and efficient operations of the Converting, Warehouse, and Customer Service functions. This role reports to the Ticonderoga Mill Manager and will be a member of the Mill Lead Team.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead all Business Unit activities in the PS&D and Warehouse areas in an engaged manner that is favorable to all budget and availability expectations. Work closely with the other mill Business Unit personnel in achieving mill scorecard objectives. </li><li>Provide strong leadership and results in safety and environmental compliance. </li><li>Drive employee ownership and engagement in safety, environmental, quality, productivity, and waste reduction initiatives. </li><li>Foster positive labor relations </li><li>Employ manufacturing excellence tools and techniques for continuous improvement in productivity, customer satisfaction, reliability, and resource utilization. Expected to consistently achieve budgeted targets in these areas. </li><li>Oversight and provision for strong controls over product and broke tracking, inventory controls, etc. </li><li>Performance management and development of salaried and hourly team members. Ability to set clear expectations and standards of performance. </li><li>Proactive strategic planning in the areas of staffing, customer service, product mix management, and equipment reliability/utilization. </li><li>Partner to achieve alignment with Supply Chain objectives. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Candidate must have proven track record of progressive leadership in employee engagement </li><li>Candidate must have proven track record of delivering solid business results. </li><li>Prefer candidate with 10 years of mill experience. Engineering or Business degree strongly preferred.
