<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Seeking ER Tech!!</p> <p>Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care Jefferson Ridge</p> <p>Part-Time (24 Hours/Week), Day Shift (7am-7pm)</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <p>The ER Technician functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. Their responsibilities include triaging patients, call lights, helping with varied procedure set-ups while maintaining sterile fields, cleaning and dressing wounds, assisting with casting & splinting, collecting swabs such as flu & strep, transporting patients, performing EKG's as requested, assisting with all resuscitations in addition to either performing Foleys & urine catheters or phlebotomy.</p> <p>About the Department:</p> <p>This hybrid emergency room and urgent care provides both types of care to patients conveniently under one roof. Patients will receive the appropriate level of care in a simple, cost effective one-stop location. The emergency room will provide care on a 24/7 basis with transport services available to handle high-acuity emergency situations needing surgery. On-site imaging and laboratory services are also available.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training.</p> </li><li> <p>1 Year of previous ER experience preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>We offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits.
