<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Guardian Service Industries Inc. is looking for an experience CDL Driver with Hazmat endorsement to join our Shipping/Receiving team in Groton CT.</p> <p>Schedule: Monday through Friday - 7:00am - 3:30pm</p> <p>Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Processes shipment and receipts of all products, materials, and supplies. </li><li>Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products. </li><li>Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. </li><li>Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area. </li><li>Promptly loads trucks for deliveries and unloads incoming trucks, sorts and stocks receivables. </li><li>Efficiently delivers packages to locations as directed. </li><li>Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately. </li><li>Engages with vendors, clients and other drivers with a positive attitude. </li><li>Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments. </li></ul> <p>Local 32BJ Union wage rates and benefits Shipping and Receiving Qualifications/Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock </li><li>Receiving, stocking, and stacking </li><li>Pulling, packing, and loading </li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Strong sense of time organization and urgency </li><li>Able to work independently and as part of a team </li></ul> <p>Education, Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent </li><li>CDL Class B with Hazmat endorsement </li><li>1 year logistics, retail, or customer service experience </li></ul> <p>Salary Description</p> <p>$26.97</p>
