This twelve-month position resides in the Workforce Solutions department and plays a vital role in training and preparing students for state certification exams and ensuring compliance with Medicaid regulations.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Instruction: Teach NAA 100, ACNA, Phlebotomy and Medication Nurse Aide courses each semester; prepare students for state certification exams. </li><li>Compliance & Documentation: Maintain program compliance with Medicaid rules, manage training site requirements, schedule and document NAA/KMA testing and manage the phlebotomy program. </li><li>Student Success: Monitor student progress, provide support for retention and completion, and assist at-risk students. </li><li>Industry Engagement: Review MOAs for clinical rotations and promote program opportunities to healthcare partners. </li><li>Supervision: Direct supervision of 4 staff members (KNAT Testing Staff and Adjunct Faculty) </li><li>Other Duties assigned by supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing (required). </li><li>Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience must include 2 years in a long-term care facility and 1 year in an approved Medicaid long-term care facility. </li><li>Licenses/Certifications: </li></ul> <p>Registered Nurse (RN) license</p> <p>Method of Instruction Certification</p> <p>Skills & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Strong organizational and documentation skills </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities </li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities </li><li>Commitment to student success and program compliance. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Moderate physical requirements; occasional lifting and exposure to clinical environments </li><li>Frequent deadlines and coordination with multiple stakeholders </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Additional Skills Requested:</p> <p>Employee Rights - Employee Polygraph Protection Act</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer - The Kentucky Community and Technical College System is an equal educational and employment opportunity institution.</p>
