<p>Responsibilities & Requirements</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>GI Technician (GI Tech) serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team and is responsible for assisting with patient care under the supervision of a professional nurse. </li><li>The GI Tech performs nursing care skills that have been delegated by the licensed nurse. </li><li>She/he plays an integral role in the patient care experience and both directly and indirectly impacts the perception of care. </li><li>The GI Tech reports to the charge nurse or clinical manager. </li><li>Paid On-Call is required for position. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Passes a pre-hire employment tests </li><li>Successful completion of KHN GI Tech orientation </li><li>GI endoscopy experience preferred in all aspecsts of endoscopy procedures </li><li>Preferred minimum of 1 year experience as a GI Tech or Endoscopy </li><li>GI scheduling of cases preferred </li><li>Front desk and pre/post op care of patient preferred </li><li>CPR certification </li></ul> <p>Overview</p> <p>Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 13 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
