Previous service experience in an upscale restaurant is required.</p> <p>Requirements & Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years, but preferably at least 4 years of serving experience in a high-end, fine dining establishment. </li><li>Advanced knowledge and terminology of beer, wine, and spirits is required. </li><li>Must be at least 21 years old. </li><li>Available to work any day of the week, including evenings, weekends and some holidays. <em>Weekend Availability (Fri/Sat/Sun) Required</em> </li><li>The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, highly motivated professional with a strong sense of hospitality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a true passion for fine service, food and wine. </li><li>Must have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and be open to learning new things. </li><li>Ability to demonstrate hospitality, warmth, and expertise to guests and coworkers in a busy, sometimes fast-paced / high-stress environment. </li><li>Ability to listen and communicate effectively with both front of the house and back of the house team members in a loud environment. </li><li>Regular, predictable, reliable attendance is required. </li></ul> <p>Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Physical ability to work on your feet, alertly, for extended periods of time </li><li>Ability to maintain balance of food and drink service trays </li><li>Physical ability to frequently lift up to 30lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs </li><li>Ability to bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb and twist </li></ul> <p>This is a non-exempt position paid a fixed hourly rate, plus tips</p>
