<p>The Campbell Elementary School is seeking Special Education Teachers for our Elementary STRIVE substantially separate program for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. There are two positions available.</p> <p>A certification in Severe Disabilities is preferred, but certifications in Moderate Disabilities will be considered.</p> <p>Essential responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide specialized instruction to students in a Special Education setting </li><li>Have a strong understanding of developmental milestones and modified curriculum at the elementary level </li><li>Experience and general understanding of the concepts of Applied Behavioral Analysis </li><li>Experience with being part of the instructional support team, including classroom teachers, auxiliary support service providers, BCBA and paraprofessionals </li><li>Experience with IEP drafting and progress monitoring through the collection of data </li><li>Experience with assessment and eligibility determination </li><li>Strong organization, writing and communication skills </li></ul> <p>Other responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Abide by state statutes, school board policies and regulations. </li><li>Attend meetings and perform duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors. </li><li>Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. </li><li>Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation. </li><li>Remain current on instructional practices in education. (e.g. instructional technology) </li></ul>
