<p>Job Description</p> <p>Provides comprehensive speech-language pathology services to patients in hospital and participates in the total plan of care as part of the health care team or director by departmental supervisor.</p> <p>Job Responsibility</p> <p>1.Hospital:</p> <ul> <li>Perform standardized patient testing and treatment on each patient as appropriates. </li><li>Perform videofluoroscopic swallowing studies (optional) </li><li>Patient education. </li><li>Multidisciplinary care plan. </li><li>Education for nursing staff and PCTs. </li><li>Comply with updated forms and policies. </li><li>ADA Essential Functions </li></ul> <p>Job Qualification</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree in Speech Pathology, required. </li><li>Currently licensed in Speech Pathology in the State of New York. </li><li>Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, required. </li><li>Eligibility for certification in Speech Pathology by American Speech and Hearing Association. </li><li>Additional Salary Detail </li></ul> <p>The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).</p>
