<p>Tutor WSU students in Math at the Davis Learning Center as part of the Learning Support department. Tutoring is done on a drop-in basis. Availability for drop-in shifts is determined by the tutor. We require and provide training in tutoring techniques.</p> <p>This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must be a WSU student. </li><li>Faculty recommendation or endorsement. </li><li>Must have earned a B or better in the courses you propose to tutor. </li><li>A strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring. </li><li>Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to tutor many different courses. </li></ul> <p>Background Check?
