<p>Construction Project Manager - Self-Perform & Municipal Projects</p> <p>Location: Watervliet, NY</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>We're looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex municipal, K-12, water/wastewater, and ground-up building projects. This role requires expertise in self-perform construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships and seamless team coordination.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction to closeout. </li><li>Oversee self-perform work, optimizing labor, equipment, and materials. </li><li>Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts. </li><li>Ensure compliance with municipal regulations, permitting, and inspections. </li><li>Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues to keep projects on track. </li><li>Lead team meetings, fostering collaboration and clear communication. </li><li>Negotiate contracts, change orders, and subcontractor agreements. </li><li>Enforce safety protocols, ensuring a secure work environment. </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <p>5+ years of project management experience with a self-performing contractor</p> <p>Proven experience managing municipal projects, K-12 schools, water/wastewater treatment, and ground-up construction</p> <p>Strong budgeting, scheduling, and leadership skills</p> <p>Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Primavera, etc.)</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)</p> <p>Certifications like PMP, CCM, OSHA 30 (a plus)</p> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <p>Experience with public sector clients & municipal permitting processes</p> <p>Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently</p> <p>Strong contract negotiation & administration expertise</p> <p>Commitment to a safe & collaborative work environment</p> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <p>Competitive compensation & benefits package</p> <p>Opportunities for career growth & development</p> <p>Team-oriented & innovative work culture</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $47.00 - $57.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
