<p>The University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) is seeking a patient centered 50% Staff Nurse to work at our North Liberty Family Medicine Clinic. This position will mainly support our Family Medicine Clinics but could float to other patient specialties/clinic locations including but not limited to: Pediatrics and/or Specialty/Outreach Clinics. This position will support the clinic in providing phone triage support, laboratory support, helping with prior authorizations, as well as assist with nurse visits.</p> <p>Our Family Medicine staff can see everyone in the family, in every generation, from birth, for life. We see patients for pregnancy care, baby wellness, vaccinations, school and athletic physicals, acute care visits, annual physicals, regular check-ups, mental health, on-site laboratory services and more. And when anyone in the family needs specialty care, our family medicine provider connects our patients with the UI Health Care specialist needed. Documents/reports interventions and patient/family response. </li><li>Collaborates and integrates contributions of patients and families into multidisciplinary patient care plan. </li><li>Develops, coordinates and implements transfer/discharge planning throughout episode of care. </li><li>Implements nursing interventions according to department, division, and/or unit policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
