<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:</p> <ul> <li>Implement quality checks and monitor individual performance with coordinating personnel assignments to ensure that workflow is maintained. </li><li>Identify potential problem areas and maintain goal attainment with training efforts and meet production requirements. </li><li>Manage team members in the production area. </li><li>Troubleshoot and solve various problems within the operations area. </li><li>Provide a safe environment for guests and team members. Report emergencies to proper authorities. </li><li>Direct team members to their workstations to ensure coverage in all areas. </li><li>Review production necessities to meet demands of the hotel. </li><li>Take care of team member requests/issues (time off, vacations, concerns, etc. </li><li>Troubleshoot and rectify supply shortages, quality issues, labor utilization, etc. Communicate any malfunctions to management/engineers. </li><li>Assist in all facets of operations when needed. </li><li>Make constant contact with both internal and external guests to provide optimal guest service. </li><li>Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Comply with Hotel rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities. </li><li>Ability of simple reading, writing, math and task completion skills is required. </li><li>Must have the following skills: coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, following instructions, influencing others, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making. </li><li>Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate. </li><li>Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3 years' laundry supervisor experience or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, occasionally sitting, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, and kneeling during the duration of their shift. </li><li>Must be able to occasionally lift/carry and push/pull up to 50lbs or less. </li><li>The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands and light and firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required. </li><li>Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision. </li><li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>Work performed indoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others around computer equipment and mechanical devices. </li><li>The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. </li><li>Team Member may be exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold, and moving objects. </li><li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </li></ul>
