<p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Quality Inspector II is responsible for performing inspections of incoming materials, parts, and finished products to ensure all products meet quality standards.</p> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.</p> <p>COMPENSATION:</p> <p>$22-$26; hourly</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Inspect in-process and finished product as required by established procedures. </li><li>Accurately document the results of inspection and testing results. </li><li>Perform careful inspections and enforcements of Quality Standards. </li><li>Maintain all controlled document files of the inspections and testing results. </li><li>Document and report product or service quality levels. </li><li>Communicate with the Production and Quality Team Members to solve problems. </li><li>Maintain records of measuring devices to ensure compliance to standards of QAP, AS9100 and ISO9001. </li><li>Record and indicate instruments are in tolerance and gauges are sent to approved labs. </li><li>Evaluate problems and make recommendations for possible corrective actions. </li><li>Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation. </li><li>Document, develop and maintain calibration system, procedures, and records. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings. </li><li>Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize work. </li><li>Train Quality Team Members as needed. </li><li>Follow up with appropriate Team Members/Management when mistakes are discovered. </li></ul> <p>SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:</p> <ul> <li>Good written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 management systems. </li><li>Working knowledge of measurement instruments. </li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written communications. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>At least two (2) years of experience in a quality position. </li></ul> <p>Desired</p> <ul> <li>AS9102 FAI inspection </li><li>Familiar with GAGE Trak/ Ape software or similar software </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
