<p>Responsible for providing basic to moderately complex technical support for daily financial operations by performing a variety of tasks following policies and procedures. In addition to processing a variety of financial transactions and maintaining records, the position compiles data and generates routine financial reports. May handle cash, manage accounts receivable and/or payable transactions.</p> <p>Duties may include:</p> <ul> <li>Purchase identified goods and services </li><li>Submit invoices and receipts for payment </li><li>Accept and recording payments </li><li>Reconcile purchasing card statements </li><li>Process travel claims and reimbursements </li><li>Track transactions through completion in the centralized financial system </li><li>File and maintain unit-level finance documents </li><li>Originate personnel actions and processing corrections to pay in the centralized finance system </li><li>Compile and summarizing data for routine reports </li><li>Distribute financial reports </li><li>Research discrepancies </li><li>Provide assistance to departments on questions related to invoices, receipts, financial reports and other transactions </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul>
