<p>Responsible for the day to day operations of the hospital-owned/managed physician practice along with filling</p> <p>in on staffing positions as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.</p> <p>Reports to: Market Practice Manager</p> <p>FLSA: Exempt</p> <p>Works in conjunction with the Market Practice Manager to plan, organize and manage day to day operations</p> <p>of the physician practice office.</p> <p>Assists Market Practice Manager with staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction,</p> <p>and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, and student</p> <p>engagements.</p> <p>Assists Market Practice Manager in monitoring departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental</p> <p>contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases,</p> <p>monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.</p> <p>Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.</p> <p>Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.</p> <p>Organizes and sets up appointments for some of the providers as needed. Follows up on special function</p> <p>needs.</p> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Minimum Education:</p> <p>High School Diploma or GED or Graduate of certificate or degree program - Required</p> <p>Required Skills:</p> <p>Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be</p> <p>able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.</p> <p>BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required within 90</p> <p>days of hire, if not current upon hire.</p> <p>Minimum Work Experience:</p> <p>Two (2) years medical office experience - Required.
