<p>Job Description</p> <p>Material Handler/Forklift Operator (Day Shift) (Recruiting)</p> <p>Owensboro, KY, United States of America</p> <p>$16.00 - $16.00</p> <p>Back Apply Now</p> <p>Back</p> <p>Apply Now</p> <p>Overview</p> <ul> <li>COME JOIN THE LACOSTA TEAM! </li></ul> <p>LACOSTA is looking for a Material Handler to join our team in Owensboro, KY!</p> <ul> <li>We conduct a background check and drug testing* </li></ul> <p>Job Skills / Requirements</p> <p>Job Schedule:</p> <p>4 on, 4 off schedule (You work 4 shifts, then have 4 shifts off)</p> <p>Day Shift 5:30 AM-5:30 PM (4 days on/4 days off)</p> <p>Pay Rate:</p> <p>$16.00/hr, paid weekly</p> <p>Job duties:</p> <p>Responsible for: Safe forklift operation, order pulling, maintaining inventory, loading materials, and documentation.</p> <p>Material Handling</p> <ul> <li>Ensures orderly production and distribution of products </li><li>Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages </li><li>Locates and packs materials for shipping </li><li>Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, loading, and securing product </li><li>Documents product shipment by recording units shipped. </li></ul> <p>Forklift Operation</p> <ul> <li>Safely operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move products </li><li>Keeps inventory, loading area and machinery clean </li><li>Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Pass background check and drug screening </li><li>Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 50lbs or more independently. </li><li>Minimum one year of previous forklift experience </li><li>Wear safety glasses, hard hat, Hi-vis safety vest, steel-toed or composite toed shoes, long pants while working </li><li>Remove all jewelry and accessories </li></ul> <p>We make working for LACOSTA easy, interview today and start work as early as tomorrow!
