<ul> <li> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> </li><li> <p>The Mobile Unit Driver is responsible for driving and maintaining the Mobile Health Unit on a daily basis. Ensures the safety of the vehicle and assists the team during scheduled clinic sessions. This position assists in the scheduling and organizing of Mobile Health events.</p> </li><li> <p>DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> </li><li> <p>Overall performance rating of below indicated essential job duties:</p> </li><li> <p>Assists patient on and off the Mobile Unit. Provides close patient monitoring, as directed, and recognizes and immediately reports, within the limits of the Driver/Coordinator's field of knowledge any changes in the medical or mental status of the patient.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides a high level of customer service, assisting customers in a friendly and helpful way, representing the Medical Center in a positive responsible manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains a positive working relationship with mammography technicians, occupational health staff, health department personnel, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Completes work and documentation with accuracy within the established time frame.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs general cleaning, organization and maintenance of equipment/working areas as assigned. Maintains the work area to reduce the likelihood of safety hazards and to enhance its general appearance.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures that the Mobile Unit is serviced as required and keeps logs of such maintenance.</p> </li><li> <p>Cross trains to assist with screenings, registration, and other appropriate clinical or non-clinical duties.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains Mobile Health Unit's stock at all times in preparation of next day usage. Demonstrates good cost-conscious judgment in the use of supplies. Maintains medical center property, supplies and equipment in a manner that demonstrates ownership and accountability.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists other Community Services team members in staffing and organizing community health events. Takes a leadership role in the department for all issues relating to community health needs. May be required to independently staff programs or projects</p> </li><li> <p>Completes Occupational Medicine testing after validation such as urine dip sticks, urine drug screens or any other applicable testing</p> </li><li> <p>EDUCATION/LICENSE/ CERTIFICATIONS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum requirement:</p> </li><li> <p>High School Diploma or GED</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains active Commercial Driver's License (CDL; Class B)</p> </li><li> <p>Preferred qualifications:</p> </li><li> <p>Two years Healthcare experience</p> </li><li> <p>Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL; Class A)</p> </li><li> <p>WORKING ENVIRONMENT</p> </li><li> <p>Constantly required to operate motor vehicle.</p> </li><li> <p>Constantly exposed to weather condition which may be adverse and will vary depending on daily changes.</p> </li><li> <p>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate</p> </li><li> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> </li><li> <p>Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.</p> </li><li> <p>Frequently required to walk and move about.</p> </li><li> <p>Frequently required to push and/or pull items up to 250lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Constantly required to maintain a stationary position (sitting).</p> </li><li> <p>Constantly required to communicate with patients requiring talking and hearing.</p> </li><li> <p>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception</p> </li></ul>
