This position is designed for someone with a growth mindset and a commitment to safety and quality compliance. You will receive specialized training in Large Power Transformer Manufacturing as well as cross-train in new processes as you progress in your job role. You will gain unique and valuable skills that will set you apart in the world of Large Power Transformers.</p> <p>How You'll Make an Impact</p> <ul> <li>Prepares and assembles transformer components (tanks, covers, radiators, etc.) for final assembly and prepares the unit for testing </li><li>Supports the testing process and disassembles accessories post-testing to prepare the transformer for shipping and dispatch </li><li>Operating overhead cranes, forklifts for transport of accessories and components </li><li>Performs quality inspections, documents processes, and assists in developing and maintaining technical instructions for assembly and disassembly procedures </li><li>Planning and reviewing the tasks to be carried out according to pre-established production plan and manufacturing standards. </li><li>Responsible to fulfill and/or to support to fulfill all protocols, policies, guidelines, and competences coming from all current system [EHS, QA, CyberSec, etc.]. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent experience required, experience in assembling transformer parts, preparing units for testing. </li><li>Experience operating cranes and the ability to obtain a Crane operation certification. </li><li>Ability to use math, read and interpret complex drawings, and perform complex measurements. </li><li>Applicant must be able to obtain Keys certification test on reading and writing and Blueprint reading test offered by local community colleges. </li><li>Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain Fork Truck License and certification for working in heights. </li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive setting. </li></ul> <p>Other Key Requirements:</p> <p>Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests, read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions in English.</p> <p>Must be willing to relocate temporarily to Mexico, Brazil or Germany for on-the-job training for a period of 3 months based on the proficiency in the area of training.
