Advantage xPO is seeking new talent in Cleveland, OH, and hiring an experienced HVAC Technician for a nationally recognized leader in integrated Facilities Management. The candidate selected for this exciting direct-hire opportunity will be responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and timely delivery of the Company's line of services to multiple customers within an assigned geographic territory.</p> <p>Pay: $28-$33 per hour</p> <p>1st Shift Hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM</p> <p>HVAC Technicians are responsible for a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the functionality and efficiency of commercial HVAC systems. Key duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Performing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and servicing HVAC systems. </li><li>Conducting thorough Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services on package and split unit systems, including belts, pulleys, condensate drain lines, compressors, motors, burners, heat exchangers, and safety controls. </li><li>Repairing and maintaining steam/hot water boiler systems, diagnosing airflow and ducting issues, and ensuring the safe and EPA-compliant handling of refrigerants. </li><li>Safely diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, or system failures. </li><li>Utilizing technology to access and complete work orders, and submit service reports, timesheets, expense reports, and purchase card logs. </li><li>Procuring necessary materials and supplies to perform tasks efficiently. </li><li>Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients through consistent communication and high-quality service, fostering customer satisfaction. </li><li>A company van and tools are provided. </li></ul> <p>Employee Benefits: Our client offers a range of competitive benefits to keep their teams happy, healthy, and invested. An outstanding benefits package will be disclosed upon hire including health insurance, 401k, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, career advancement opportunities, and more!</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>HS diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc), or Specialty Floor Care, preferred. </li><li>Certified 2-year HVAC technical certificate or state-approved HVAC license. </li><li>5+ years of HVAC/General Maintenance experience including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry required; or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. </li><li>Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver's license in good standing. Must possess an EPA Universal Refrigeration License. </li><li>Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. </li><li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, communication, technology, and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook (email), MS Office (word, Excel). </li><li>Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift 75 pounds. </li></ul> <p>Would you be a good fit for this exciting career advancement?
