<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic /Fleet Technician B to focus on the PM services of tractors, trailers, liftgates, and reefer units at our shop in Enfield, CT.</p> <p>Shift: Full-Time l Sunday-Wednesday 2:00PM-12:30AM OR Tuesday-Friday 2:00PM-12:30AM Pay: $23.00-$28.00/HR based on experience and qualifications</p> <p>Why work for Reyes Fleet Management?</p> <ul> <li>4 Weeks paid time off + Holiday pay </li><li>Yearly performance raises </li><li>ASE Incentive Pay (up to $2.00 additionally with ASE Certifications) </li><li>CDL Incentive Pay-($1.00 additionally with active license) </li><li>Career advancement opportunities </li><li>401K and Company paid Life Insurance </li><li>Referral bonuses and Reyes Reward program </li><li>Health, dental, and vision coverage including multiple medical plans </li><li>Tool & Boot annual payout & Paid Uniforms </li><li>Great work culture and clean facilities </li><li>Financial and wellness discounts and much more!! </li></ul> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>The Fleet Technician focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed </li><li>As the Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance </li><li>You will inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registration </li><li>You will use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery </li><li>You will examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience </li><li>Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds </li><li>Must have a valid Driver's License to operate applicable company vehicles </li><li>Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement) </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Technical School Certification </li></ul> <p>Essential Information for Our Employees</p> <p>At the Reyes Family of Businesses, our Total Rewards Strategy prioritizes the holistic well-being of our employees, and our compensation philosophy embraces diverse factors for fair pay decisions, valuing skills, experience, and the needs of our business.
