<p>As part of the broader OCI organization, you'll be a key part of our Sovereign Realms Operations team, working with partner service teams and our Sovereign Operations teams to develop new services and features into our secured control centers. This role is critical to the success of our system engineering that supports our partner operations teams as they administer the secure cloud realms.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall characteristics of production systems and services. Responsible for the design and delivery of mission critical stack, with focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance. Partner with other development teams in defining and implementing improvements in service architecture. Articulate technical details of services and guide teams that engineer to add capabilities to the operations centers. Understand and communicate the scale, capacity, security, performance attributes, and requirements of the service and technology stack. Demonstrate clear understanding of automation and orchestration principles. Act as ultimate escalation point for complex or critical issues and create and maintain documented runbooks. Leverage a deep understanding of service topology and dependencies to troubleshoot issues and define mitigations. Understand and explain the effect of product architecture decisions and distributed systems.</p> <ul> <li>Shepherd the deployment of code into high security environments. </li><li>Ensure timely resolution and documentation of incidents through company-standard protocols and reporting methods. </li><li>Inform internal teams as required through process and procedure.
