<p>THE ROLE</p> <p>We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join our Engineering team and serve as a thought-leader in the development of our engineering- and product-focused initiatives. This role will be responsible for collaborating with product and design to implement novel user interface components, ensuring a highly intuitive and seamless responsive design across multiple platforms to support our customers in a variety of different means. As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer, you will interface with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers and UX/UI designers, to create an exceptional user experience.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Manage and execute on software engineering projects such as developing, maintaining and improving web apps, websites, mobile device apps and microsites. </li><li>Partner with a back-end team to deliver highly integrated tools and solutions with a focus to display useful information to the customer and easily allow user-input and information control. </li><li>Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure technical feasibility and timelines before translating design wireframes into high-quality code. </li><li>Optimize applications for usability, speed and scalability, within a secure and HIPAA compliant environment. </li><li>Collaborate with multiple team members, partners, contractors and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. </li><li>Oversee and develop junior engineering team members. </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to front-end development. </li><li>Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in front-end development. </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR</p> <ul> <li>5-10 years experience as a front-end developer or similar role utilizing various programming languages/frameworks including JavaScript, react, angular, vue. </li><li>Ability to project manage/coordinate, especially for complex products utilized by non-technical users </li><li>Familiarity with build tools and package managers. </li><li>Experience with version control systems, ticket management systems (e.g., Git, Jira). </li><li>Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. </li><li>Ability to learn new technologies, programming languages, processes, and systems quickly, and to make recommendations that will support the teams. </li><li>Ability to think outside of the box and bring creative solutions and improvements to our operations. </li><li>A collaborative work style and strong communication skills, and the desire to work in a highly team-oriented environment. </li><li>Bachelor's degree or more advanced in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION</p> <p>$160-180K/year - commensurate with experience/location</p> <p>BENEFITS</p> <p>Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance (Aetna), 401K, Flexible PTO policy, Commuter Benefits, Additional Wellness Perks, Parental Leave Policy</p> <p>Exempt V Non-Exempt Status:</p> <p>Exempt - This position is not eligible for overtime pay and is expected to fulfill the responsibilities of the role regardless of hours worked.</p>
