<p>DESCRIPTION</p> <p>This is a #hybrid position, working on-site with Coca-Cola 3 days per week in their Bloomington, MN office.</p> <p>As the Sr. Manager, Business Insights on the Coca-Cola Retail business, you will provide a high level of support for the implementation of Category Management, Analytics, Insights, and other related business insights initiatives supporting Target .</p> <p>You will demonstrate a high-level understanding of the sales trends and drivers that affect Retailers, Brands, and Consumers, working with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced, value-added, and insight-driven analytics and recommendations .</p> <p>You must be confident in independently engaging with retail partners .</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Analyze complex data and provide thoughtful, proactive guidance and recommendations that address the 4-Ps (product, pricing, promotion, placement).</p> </li><li> <p>Build compelling sales presentations using syndicated , shopper, and other sources of data that provide in-depth analysis and solutions that address current business issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Leverage Target POS/Vendor IQ, Circana, Nielsen, CKS , Numerator, etc., to analyze data to develop insights-based analysis / projects with recommendations focused on strategies and objectives</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in the category review or line review processes, working with other cross-functional teams to provide complete category management solutions .</p> </li><li> <p>Independently develop and maintain reporting that measures performance against strategies and objectives.</p> </li><li> <p>Possess an understanding of Space Management software and the ability to occasionally manipulate POGs .</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely and often with Coca-Cola team members and the customer by setting up regular meetings to become a trusted advisor.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide follow-up and summarize action items and results as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Solid working knowledge of the CPG industry (data sources, tools, concepts, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in industry tools utilized in the completion of the work assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>An advanced degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Effectively and independently conduct data mining, utilizing CPG math concepts and tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate advanced skills in plan preparation and delivering effective solutions .</p> </li><li> <p>Extrapolate opportunities to drive results based on analysis of a business challenge or opportunity.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate clearly and effectively while understanding and adapting to the audience.</p> </li><li> <p>Independently manages and, at times, leads project plans and assumes responsibility for tracking, communication, and timing.</p> </li><li> <p>Break down larger problems into smaller components and potential resolutions .</p> </li><li> <p>Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, gaining trust and respect, leading to optimal execution of results .</p> </li><li> <p>Execute against strategic objectives by developing tactical plans .</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Seeing</p> </li><li> <p>Color Perception</p> </li><li> <p>Touching</p> </li></ul> <p>#DiscoverYourPath</p> <p>ABOUT US</p> <p>Acosta is a part of Acosta Group - a collective of the industry's most trusted retail, marketing and foodservice agencies reimagining the way people connect with brands at every point in their shopping journey.</p> <p>Specializing in retail sales services, digital strategy, and business intelligence, Acosta empowers brands to thrive in the world of omnichannel shopping.
