We are looking for Retail and Food Service Management Now!</p> <p>The Assistant Gift/Merchandise Manager will assist the Merchandise Manager in developing and leading a high performing team, responsible for receiving, stocking, and merchandising Buc-ee's unique gift items. The Assistant Gift/Merchandise Manager provides exemplary customer satisfaction by maintaining a clean, friendly, and in stock experience for every customer.</p> <p>The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>$25 / hour</p> </li><li> <p>Perform all duties and responsibilities of the Merchandise Manager in their absence or upon their discretion</p> </li><li> <p>Administer ongoing training to Merchandise staff in order for the team to practice the principles of:</p> </li><li> <p>Building a High Performance Team</p> </li><li> <p>Delivering Customer Satisfaction</p> </li><li> <p>Managing Product Offerings</p> </li><li> <p>Achieving Financial Goals</p> </li><li> <p>Enforce Company policies and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Manage retail product mix, merchandising, and replenishment</p> </li><li> <p>Train, Recognize and Motivate Merchandise staff</p> </li><li> <p>Consistently execute the Company's visual presentation</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule and assign employees' tasks and follow up on work results</p> </li><li> <p>Interact professionally and build positive working relationships with store team and District Managers to share business insight and best practices</p> </li><li> <p>Administer labor budgets</p> </li><li> <p>Manage store inventory levels</p> </li><li> <p>Illustrate competent use of various Point Of Sale and transaction devices for receiving and checking in of goods, processing of associated paperwork and handling of any product issues with suppliers</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to identify and resolve immediate customer and store needs without limited supervision</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure stores' Merchandise departments are ready for audits as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as required and/or assigned</p> </li><li> <p>Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation</p> </li></ul> <p>The position requirements include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree or equivalent combinations of experience and education in lieu of degree</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 3 years of relevant and extensive retail management experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office Software</p> </li><li> <p>Strong Mathematics skills</p> </li></ul> <p>Joining our team puts you on a path where opportunity for advancement is available.</p> <p>Buc-ee's, Ltd. is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
