<p>JOB TITLE: National Account Manager</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Business Development</p> <p>JOB STATUS: Exempt</p> <p>SALARY RANGE: $75,000-$95,000 (Depending on skills and knowledge)</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Director of Business Development</p> <p>DIRECT REPORTS: No</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>CrossCountry Freight Solutions is looking for a high-performing National Account Manager to drive our strategic growth by managing key national accounts, achieving ambitious sales and gross margin goals, and identifying new business opportunities. This role plays a crucial part in helping us meet acquisition and revenue targets while maintaining our competitive edge and fostering innovation.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES</p> <p>Principal Responsibilities -?75%</p> <ul> <li>Negotiate major contracts which involve detailed work and research. Put together tender packages including rate proposals, company related information, or equipment and financials. -?25% </li><li>Prepares reports of business transactions, rate requests, sales leads etc. - 10% </li><li>Doing?presentations?which involves?research and detailed work to emphasize features and related benefits. -?25% </li><li>Travels throughout assigned territories within Canada and the Western United States and calls on high volume, high revenue accounts ($250,000 per year in gross revenues and greater), as assigned, to maintain and increase business, keep them informed of new services and changes within the company.?25% </li><li>Keep up to date on any changes happening with our customers and the competition. </li><li>Suggest to companies how they can improve the shipping?ie. Packaging improvements to reduce claims. </li><li>Recommend innovative solutions and changes that will reduce costs, save time, improve revenues, make the company more efficient, etc. </li><li>Responsible for approximately $10-15 million gross revenue per year (approximately 100-150 accounts)?Added in main responsibilities </li></ul> <p>Customer Relations and Business Development -?25%</p> <ul> <li>Respond to all customer concerns, complaints and requests. - 15% </li><li>Ensuring the right information is gathered from the customer regarding density, packaging, volumes, etc. - 10% </li><li>This position must keep up to date on any changes happening with our customers and the competition in order to maintain and increase business, keep them informed of new services and changes within the company. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>2-3 years of experience in sales or relevant industry experience </li><li>Self-motivated and results driven </li><li>Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and verbal), analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. </li><li>High level of cognitive and emotional intelligence. </li><li>Strong negotiation skills </li><li>Ability to gain a strong understanding and working knowledge of the following areas: </li><li>CCFS markets, contracts, pricing publications, and competitors. </li><li>CCFS infrastructure and operating characteristics. </li><li>CCFS information and reporting systems. </li><li>Interline partner systems, capabilities and procedures. </li><li>Transportation industry behavior, including CCFS pricing mechanisms and costing systems. </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Vision, Dental, Supplemental, and Life Insurances available. </li><li>Paid time off, paid holidays, paid community volunteer time </li><li>401k retirement plan </li></ul> <p>#CCADM</p>
