<p>Mail Processor</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>As a Mail Processor, you will play a crucial role in the efficient handling and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail within our organization. You will be responsible for sorting, processing, and distributing mail items accurately and in a timely manner. This position requires excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Essential Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, including letters, packages, and parcels. </li><li>Process outgoing mail, ensuring proper postage and addressing. </li><li>Operate mail processing equipment, such as postage meters, letter folding machines, and envelope sealers. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail volumes. </li><li>Assist with the preparation and processing of bulk mailings. </li><li>Handle confidential and sensitive materials with discretion. </li><li>Monitor and replenish supplies necessary for mail processing operations. </li><li>Assist with other clerical tasks and office duties as needed. </li><li></li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Previous experience in mailroom operations or a similar role preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with mail processing equipment and procedures. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy. </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. </li><li>Proficiency in basic computer skills, including email and word processing software. </li><li>Good communication skills, both verbal and written. </li><li>Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures regarding mail handling and security. </li></ul>
