<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated Academic General Anesthesiologist to join our expanding team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide a wide variety of anesthesia care while contributing to the department's academic, research, and teaching missions.</p> <p>Position Highlights</p> <ul> <li>Provide anesthesia care for a broad range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties and obstetric care, including labor analgesia and cesarean delivery. </li><li>Deliver high-quality perioperative care and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical continuum. </li><li>Supervise and teach residents, fellows, and medical students in both clinical and didactic settings. </li><li>Participate in departmental academic activities, such as research, quality improvement, and scholarly projects. </li><li>Engage in collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical care across the institution. </li><li>MD, DO, or equivalent degree. </li><li>Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology (ABA or equivalent). </li><li>Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas. </li><li>Demonstrated interest in education, scholarship, and academic contributions. </li><li>Commitment to excellence in patient care, teamwork, and professional development. </li><li>Candidates with subspecialty training in cardiothoracic, obstetric, pediatric, regional, neurosurgical, or transplant anesthesia, as well as critical care, pain management, hyperbaric medicine, and perioperative medicine are welcome to apply. </li></ul> <p>Contact:</p> <p>Dustin Floyd.
