External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.</p> <p>Your Role</p> <p>At MilliporeSigma, as the Training Specialist - Manufacturing, supporting out 3500 Dekalb location, I you will utilize the capabilities below to enhance performance, drive innovation, and achieve strategic goals by training new and existing team members in various core functions. You will work with leadership and share best practices with other sites to develop a training program that utilizes current and new technology to supplement learning for new team members that covers core information including safety, quality, and the ERP system. Program will be designed to include mock situations and processes throughout. When time allows, this position will contribute to manufacturing throughput as well. The hours for this role are Monday-Friday 7:30am- 4:00pm, with occasional need for a shift change and potential to travel to other sites.</p> <ul> <li>Ensuring the adherence to safety and quality regulations, specifications, and policies through an effective training program. Enable team members to prevent injuries and quality non-conformances by training team members to utilize formal risk assessments, proactive safety procedures and quality observations. </li><li>Knowledgeable about supply chain components and the flow of goods and services from raw materials to customers. </li><li>Proactively train teams through change using basic change management concepts. Ability to translate strategic initiatives into clear, actionable plan for production floor with storytelling and examples. Ability to minimize resistance, engage stakeholders, and promote adaptability to achieve operational goals. </li><li>Ability to develop and enhance training procedures, ensuring all training materials are up-to-date and effective for new and existing employees. Responsible for training new and existing employees on operational activities, including all applicable department, site, and company SOPs. </li><li>Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance principles and the ability to conduct quality reviews and enhance safety performance within the department. Conduct safety audits to ensure new and existing employees are trained on safe handling of hazardous materials. Lead effort in addressing unsafe situations. </li><li>Acts as a technical resource for new and existing employees, providing guidance on standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring tasks are performed accurately, site processes, and SAP NEXT ERP system. </li><li>Actively involved in identifying, participating in implementation of process improvements to enhance productivity and quality within the manufacturing environment. </li></ul> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc. ) or educational field with emphasis in science </li><li>2 + years in experience scientific manufacturing operations </li><li>OR- </li><li>High school diploma or GED with 4+ years experience in a scientific manufacturing operations </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in a training role or coaching role </li><li>Strong verbal and written communications </li><li>Experience writing training documents, determine training objectives and assess training effectiveness </li><li>Strong knowledge of GMP manufacturing </li><li>Detail oriented and process improvement experience </li></ul> <p>What we offer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
