<p>Job Overview</p> <p>To maintain a well functioning hotel and upkeep of the face and cosmetic appearance of the hotel. Establish programs to prevent breakdowns and follow the preventive maintenance programs</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Maintain the physical appearance of the hotel according to the company's standard. Skills that are required are painting, drywall, patching, etc. </li><li>Know emergency procedures for fire, bomb threat, evacuation and medical emergency according to the SOP's </li><li>Perform Preventative Maintenance duties according to the SOP's. </li><li>Respond as promptly as possible to guest requests for repairs & replacements. </li><li>Be able to perform carpentry work, wallcovering repairs, tile work, ceiling tile replacement, drywall repair and painting. </li><li>Be able to measure, calculate and order materials for all projects as required. </li><li>Be able to take charge of a shift in the absence of the Supervisor. </li><li>Assist other departments in the hotel to keep equipment in the best possible operating order. </li><li>Complete other tasks as assigned by management. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Must have basic knowledge in most areas of hotel maintenance including Preventive Maintenance. </li><li>Must have strong knowledge in the areas of carpentry, wallcovering repairs, painting, ceiling & floor tile repairs. </li><li>Must be experience on how to use all hand & power tools related to carpentry. </li><li>Has been in a Sr. Maintenance level position or equivalent for at least 2 years. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Frequent walking, lifting up to 40lbs., bending, stooping, and climbing ladders up to 25'. </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours (including nights, weekends and holidays </li></ul>
