<p>Posted: December 10, 2025 Closed: When filled</p> <p>Employment Opportunity: Shrewsbury Public Schools POSITION: Stipend - ESL Teacher for Adult ESL Classes 2025-2026 School Year</p> <p>Shrewsbury Public Schools is seeking an ESL teacher to teach English as a Second Language to parents and caregivers of Shrewsbury Public School students.</p> <p>We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom.</p> <p>Candidates with diverse racial, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender background and experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.</p> <p>The stipend for this position is $1,724.00 and will be paid at the end of the program. *</p> <ul> <li>Stipend is based on teaching 20 classes and will be adjusted accordingly if fewer classes are taught during the session. </li></ul> <p>Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until the position is filled.</p> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Classes are in person and will be held at Calvin Coolidge Elementary School on Wednesday's 5:15pm-6:45pm. </li><li>Classes are tentatively scheduled to begin in early January and will end in June. </li><li>Adult ESL curriculum resources will be shared. </li><li>Two teachers may share the teaching responsibilities, either through a co-teaching arrangement or a job-share arrangement.
