<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Provides leadership of all facets of the men's and women's fencing program to ensure a quality program and successful Division I team. Actively builds, monitors, and promotes a standard of excellence in academic success, compliance, community service, diversity and inclusion, and student health and safety. Recruits and oversees student-athletes including training and competition. Monitors and supports academic success of student-athletes. Builds and maintains public awareness of the program. Performs other functionally relevant duties as assigned.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma, GED or state recognized equivalent. </li><li>One (1) year of experience coaching fencing at the high school, collegiate or equivalent level. </li><li>Valid driver's license and ability to establish driver eligibility under CSU's Motor Vehicle Policy. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferably in sports management or related field. </li><li>Three (3) years of head coaching experience in collegiate fencing. </li><li>Familiarity with Northeast Ohio region. </li><li>Professional experience in a urban higher education environment. </li></ul>
