<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Temporary</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Rate: $15.50 hourly</p> <p>Status: Seasonal</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 16 years old. </li><li>If applying for Winter Camp, must be available to work for all these dates December 22nd, 23rd, 26th, 29th, 30th, & January 2nd </li><li>If applying to work Summer Camp 2026, minimum of 30 hours per week and must work entirety of June-August. </li><li>Provide instruction and demonstrate a variety of athletic, educational, and creative skills to youth participants. </li><li>Supervise campers at all times to ensure safety and adherence to camp policies and procedures. </li><li>Communicate regularly with the Camp Director and other staff members regarding camper behavior, needs, and any concerns. </li><li>Coordinate the daily and long-term activities for campers, making sure goals fit with overall camp themed plans. </li><li>Maintain all the necessary paperwork for the efficient management of their group. </li><li>Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating appropriate behavior, respect, and teamwork. </li><li>Assist with camper check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a smooth and safe transition for all children. </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment throughout the camp site. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Camp Director or Assistant Camp Director. </li><li>This is a safety sensitive position </li><li>NOTES: All hours and schedules may be subject to change based on City and/or department needs </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to think creatively and adapt to varying situations. </li><li>Previous experience working with children preferred. </li><li>High energy, positive attitude, and a cooperative team player. </li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities. </li><li>Self-motivated and proactive in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all campers. </li><li>This is an outdoor job so needs to be able to work outdoors in various weather. </li><li>MUST PASS POLICE RECORD CHECK. </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disabled/Veteran</p>
